What Would You do with 4 Priceless Ferraris, Two Professional Drivers, and a Race Track to Yourself?

Drive had the opportunity last week at Mont Tremblant to do a video shoot with several fantastic historic Ferraris. After some nice shots of the cars on the track the fun really started – we did some lead follow with the cars. The cars (driven by professional drivers) were following our van (driven by me) at 100 miles per hour with our cameras on a jib hanging out the back of the van. At times the cameras were only a few inches off of the track and less than a foot from the cars they were filming. The footage was fantastic. We are shooting an upcoming documentary on the Ferrari Historic Challenge so stay tuned for details.

Monterey Historics – Video work for Just Marketing, Historic Motorsports Productions and Bobby Rahal

We are shooting the Monterey Historics in Monterey, California this weekend. Drive is doing several different projects throughout the weekend but one of our clients is the largest motorsports marketing company in the world – Just Marketing. On Friday, the founder of Just Marketing, Zak Brown, along with the legendary Bobby Rahal and Peter Stoneberg announced the formation of a new vintage racing league – Historic Motorsports Productions (the picture to the left is me with Zak Brown and Bobby Rahal). The series will start next year and will provide a completely new approach to vintage racing including more track time and fewer hassles for competitors. Drive was there to shoot the kickoff meeting of Historic Motorsports Productions and will be developing a series of videos to support the series. It will be a very exciting new vintage racing series and Drive is proud to be part of the team.
