Drive’s last two days of working with Ferrari in Spain went very well. Scott Tucker won both races and Mark McKenzie ended up narrowly winning the 2009 North American Ferrari Challenge championship.
Of course getting media access to racing events has its advantages. We had the opportunity to hang out with the two-time world champion and new Ferrari F1 driver Fernando Alonso:

The Ferrari world finals also featured Ferrari’s F1 cars and FXX cars:

Drive completed a major video shoot for Medical Positioning last week that included significant work in both white and green screen studio. Medical Positioning is introducing a new table and drive is developing both video and web components to support the product launch and drive sales.
The Soneva Table, developed in conjunction with and endorsed by Susan Murphey, BS, RDMS, RDCS, CECD of Essential Ergonomics, is the ultimate multi-purpose platform designed to reduce risk for sonographer injury in the high volume radiology lab.
The innovative design elements of the Soneva Table optimize patient access and positioning, reducing struggle time for the sonographer. The Soneva™ Table provides a single platform for performing a wide range of procedures safely and efficiently including abdominal, vascular, venous reflux, small parts and OB/GYN.
Drive is developing a video for the Soneva Table that is as interesting and exciting as one of our videos focused on a $20 million Ferrari. Although about half of our business is focused in the racing industry, we work in several other markets including medical, arts, entertainment, manufacturing, professional tennis and college sports just to name a few.
The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, the world’s leading professional tennis association for women, has selected Drive to develop a next generation digital media guide for the 2010 season. The next generation digital media guide will utilize real-time digital data feeds to supply the media and fans event information, records, the top 100 players and much more.
The WTA is the latest major organization to select Drive for the development of next generation media guides. Drive currently produces digital media guides for Conference USA, Grand-Am and dozens of major NASCAR tracks around the country.
Drive will help the WTA transition their traditional printed media guides to an online format that will allow interested parties to get updated information on the WTA anytime from any computer in the world.
The WTA is a fantastic new client for Drive. The association has more than 2,200 players representing 96 nations competing for more than $86 million in prize money at the Tour’s 51 events and four Grand Slams in 31 countries. More than 4.8 million people attended women’s tennis events in 2008 with millions more watching events on television networks around the world.
Day 2 at Ferrari World Finals in Valencia was outstanding. Our Americans in the Ferrari Challenge did very well – Tucker, Richard and McKenzie were the top three Americans. The Ferrari F1 cars, FXX cars and Historic cars are all here in force.
There are many more personal Ferrari’s here than at any other event – literally hundreds of personal Ferraris – both old and new.
This is definitely a Ferrari world event – everything, everywhere is Ferrari red. The company is a perfect case study of creation and tightly controlling a brand.
Our crew is headed to Spain this week to shoot the International Ferrari Challenge Finals for Ferrari.
